Our Queenply Multiplex – extremely matt black anti-fingerprint is particularly light (approx. 320 – 350 kg/m³) in both 15 mm and 18 mm thickness, has a high screw pull-out resistance and particularly good stability due to the multiplex construction.
The extreme matt coating makes the finishing panel look classy and is easy to clean. The anti-fingerprint technology leaves no chance for unsightly marks. We calibrated the support panel to 0,2 mm.
We have covered the multiplex panel on both sides with 0.5 mm (no CPL or melamine!). The gluing of the HPL surface to the core panel is waterproof thanks to the PUR hotmelt process and is therefore ideally suited to the climatic conditions in the camper, but also in the interior of ships.
Edging
Please note: These elements are unedged. The HPL / acrylic may protrude at the sides. We have dispensed with the edging, as each panel has to be edged again by you before installation anyway. We therefore charge 1 cm less for each side of each composite element in advance (243 cm × 121 cm).
Transport protection film
And to ensure that nothing happens to the high-quality surface during transport and that you can start your job without any hassle, we supply the elements with a transport protection film on both sides.
You should remove this protective film before processing and check the freshly delivered panel for scratches. Please note that scratches that you only notice after the Queenly has been processed can no longer be claimed. This is because we can no longer say exactly how the damage actually occurred.
After the protective film has been removed, the surface is ready for use; additional polishing is not necessary.
Care
For the care of the extremely matt Queenply acrylic decors, you will find care instructions and cleaning instructions as a download here.
For permanent care, we have a surface cleaner in our range that is specially designed for this elegant surface. You can find it in the accessories section.
Storage
Long storage periods of more than 6 months and storage in the sun (UV light) can damage the surface.
Plywood and multiplex supports such as Queenply multiplex black extremely matt with anti-fingerprint do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF supports. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are no reason for a complaint. Production or material-related minimal defects that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the 1st choice are assessed according to the grading regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standardization.
We also take great care to ensure that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.
Please note! Surface treatment before installation It is important to oil the raw surfaces of your Queenply before installation. This applies to all veneers and all panels coated only on one side, as well as to the raw panels and all open edges. Why? This makes our Queenply resistant, protects and maintains the wood. We also have a special recommendation for this, which you can order directly: RUBIO® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. One coating is enough with this oil! You can find all informations here.
Please also note that the representation of the HPL coloring on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions about this, simply contact us.
If you are going to process our lightweight board, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing protective goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation when processing the Queenply.
And another important note: We pack your finishing panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your project – and feel free to recommend us to others.
