Rubio® Monocoat Scrubby Pad beige
Product information "Rubio® Monocoat Scrubby Pad beige"
For manual application of Rubio oil. For perfect absorption. Extremely easy to use.
If you want to apply your wood care oil to surfaces by hand, then this Scrubby Pad is just the thing! You may have already spotted it: we also stock it as a set, complete with a handy holder, here in our shop.
Either way: this beige pad is perfect for working in the high-quality Rubio Monocoat wood care oil. Why? Because the texture and structure of the pad allow the oil to penetrate deeper into the wood fibres, making application really easy.
You can use it on all wooden surfaces, edges and veneers – furniture, stairs, worktops and so on.
The beige pad measures 10 cm × 15 cm and is also suitable for the Scrubby holder which is available from us as part of a set of 5 pads.
Instructions for use
Before applying the oil, please remove any dirt and dust from the surface. This is best done using a Rubio Cleaner. Once the surface has dried, apply a small amount of the Universal Maintenance Oil – which you have stirred thoroughly beforehand – to the surface and spread it evenly using a beige Scrubby Pad.
Leave the oil to soak in for a few minutes. You can then remove any excess oil with a cloth or the white Scrubby Pads, which are also available from us. Important: Each treated area must be rubbed dry within 15 minutes. It must no longer feel sticky. And then you’re done.
When working on larger areas, always work in sections where you can complete all steps within a maximum of 15 minutes.
Ensure there is adequate ventilation during application.

Warning!
Oil-soaked cloths, pads or other application tools pose a fire hazard. The oxidation of the oil generates heat, which can cause the materials to spontaneously ignite. Therefore, cloths and other tools must be soaked in water for a while after use before you can dispose of them.
Wear work gloves. Although Rubio oils contain only environmentally friendly ingredients, they may cause allergic reactions in some people. It is therefore best to wear work gloves when working with the oil.
