Ash wood is a hard wood. Its bending strength exceeds that of oak. It is elastic, abrasion-resistant and tougher than most of our domestic wood species due to its high breakability. Characteristic for panel boards with aspen oak veneer are the natural growth cracks, which we leave in the wood for reasons of uniqueness and design. These cracks are therefore not an unsightly blemish in the veneer, but exactly what characterizes the aste oak. If you like this naturalness, then you should take a closer look at our Queenply with aste oak veneer. It can be used to build great furniture for the van. Queenply, which is coated on one side, is suitable for use as a wall or ceiling covering in vans or yachts for example. The high-quality surface is pre-treated with a caring oil, so that the veneer is additionally moisture-regulating and gets a noble look. The base material is of course Queenply with its low weight of approx. 320 – 350 kg/m3. The applied veneer is about 50% lighter than HPL. For beautiful wall and ceiling paneling in vans or yachts, we have this multiplex in 4mm thickness with veneer on one side in our range.
