Product information "Queenply floor panel with cork core"

Multiplex panelmade of Queenply and cork. Reduces vibrations. Soundproof. Extremely light

The foundation you build on should always be solid. Particularly in the interior finishing of motorhomes or yachts, the later driving and living pleasure is already noticeable in the floor slab. Experienced conversion professionals also say this. That's why we have the Queenply floor panel for you in our range. Only the best for your extension project.

With a sandwich of 4mm Queenply top and bottom and 4mm cork in the middle, we manage to decouple the vibrations in the vehicle. So there is pleasantly little rattling while driving. In addition, the panel is sound-absorbing and heat-insulating.

And this lightweight panel really deserves its name! If you equip your camper with birch, you have to reckon with approx. 9.75 kg/m². Our Queenply floor panel weighs just 3.44 kg/m². How does that sound?

Technical details

Calibrating (grinding on both sides) makes the surface smoother and the thickness tolerance lower. That is why we also calibrate the Queenply base plate.

Due to the multiplex construction, the floor panel has a high screw pull-out resistance and high stability. Built-in furniture can be fixed very well.

The gluing of the multiplex floor panel is MR (moisture resistant). This means it is very well suited to the climatic conditions in campers.

Important infos!

We take great care that your ordered Queenply records leave our factory perfectly and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any warping of the boards caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.

Multiplex boards such as the Queenply floor board do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF beams. Any surface unevenness is therefore in the nature of the substrate and is also not a reason for complaint.

During further processing, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing protective goggles and a protective mask.

Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation during the processing of the Queenply.

We recommend PUR hotmelt gluing for this lightweight board (see FAQ).

And another important note: We pack your finishing panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your extension – and feel free to recommend us to others.
