If you want to apply Rubio wood care products using a machine, this pad is just the thing! It has been specially designed for this purpose. The texture and structure of the pad allow the oil to penetrate deeper into the wood fibres. This ensures you achieve a perfect finish. And it’s really very easy to use.
You can use it on all wooden surfaces, edges and veneers – furniture, stairs, worktops and so on. The pad has a diameter of 15 cm. We sell it in packs of 10.
Instructions for use
- Before applying the oil, please remove any dirt and dust from the surface. This is best done using a Rubio Cleaner. Once the surface has dried, apply a small amount of the Universal Maintenance Oil – which you have stirred thoroughly beforehand – to the surface and spread it evenly using a machine fitted with the beige pad.
- Leave the oil to soak in for a few minutes. You can remove any excess oil that remains with a cloth or, even better, with the white pads, which are also available in our shop. Important: Each treated area must be rubbed dry within 15 minutes. It must no longer feel sticky. And then you’re done.
- When working on larger areas, always work in sections where you can complete all the steps within a maximum of 15 minutes.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation during application.

Warning!
Oil-soaked cloths, pads or other application tools pose a fire hazard. The oxidation of the oil generates heat, which can cause the materials to spontaneously ignite. Therefore, cloths and other tools must be soaked in water for a while after use before you can dispose of them.
Wear work gloves. Although Rubio oils contain only environmentally friendly ingredients, they may cause allergic reactions in some people. It is therefore best to wear work gloves when working with the oil.
