If you like our mineral surface imi-rust and you are already planning an interior fitting with it, we also offer you the matching ABS edge. You can use it to cover the cut edges of our Queenply and protect the multiplex edge from knocks or damage.
In principle, this is not necessary. Due to its construction, our Queenply has a really beautiful cut edge, unlike many plywood panels. Well oiled and pre-treated, you can also leave the edges open. However, if you are looking for a decorative and protective edge finish for this surface, we recommend this original imi-rust ABS edge, specially matched to the rust decor.
There are 50 metres on each roll. We offer you a width that you can individually adapt to the thickness of our Queenply Multiplex imi-rust. The ABS edgeband can be applied like all other ABS edgebands. You can find more information on this in the technical details for this product.
Alternatively, you can also cover the edges with a color-coordinated edge covering color. We also offer this in our shop. Please have a look at this before you make your decision.

Each roll of imi-rust ABS edgeband has a length of 50 metres and a thickness of 1 – 2 mm. This edgeband is suitable for the decorative edge protection of Queenply Multiplex imi-rust and is precisely matched to this panel decor.
This edgeband can be processed like any other ABS edgeband – by hand or with an appropriate machine.
The following applies to the carrier panel itself: The multiplex construction gives you a finishing panel with high screw pull-out resistance and particularly good stability.
You can process these lightweight boards – like all our Queenplys – easily and in a time-saving manner. Standard carpentry tools are sufficient. You can find a special processing video, where we also discuss edge processing, on YouTube.
Please note that the color representation on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions, please contact us. However, we assure you that the color of this ABS edge is exactly matched to the imi-rust surface.
If you are going to process our lightweight panel, please always ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing protective goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation when processing the Queenply.
