WOW! Concrete look in noble anthracite. On the lightest multiplex on the market. For industrial design and more.
Wood meets concrete! That's new and something completely different! And you can use it to create an incredible number of great extensions and interiors. We now offer you our Queenply with a concrete surface in anthracite.
And this surface not only looks like concrete, it also feels like it. The look and feel are authentic to real exposed concrete, including air inclusions and a three-dimensional depth structure. You can use it to simulate modern industrial design in vans, in yacht interiors, on trade fair booths, in shop fitting or for living environments and create almost anything you want: Furniture, wall or ceiling panelling, stairs and much more.
Combinations with one of our real wood veneers, for example, are particularly popular right now.
The processing is – like the work with all Queenply multiplex panels – simple and time-saving. Standard carpentry tools are all that is needed. You will also find matching edges and accessories for this surface in our shop.

The Queenply Multiplex imi-concrete vintage anthracite is available in our shop in 17.4 mm or 20.2 mm thickness, including coating. The coating is concrete on one side, the reverse side has a matching HPL coating in anthracite. The concrete characteristic has no unwinding – every square metre is unique. But of course we pay attention to a uniform appearance for larger quantities.
The concrete surface is made of mineral, solid-coloured material that is resistant to stains and abrasion.
The carrier panel is of course our extremely light Queenply multiplex panel. With a weight of approx. 320 – 350 kg/m3 it is so much lighter than birch multiplex or poplar plywood. You work with concrete, but without dragging. You save weight, can work with the panels very easily and have a really cool look at the same time. We can't wait to see what you make of it!
We achieve a low thickness tolerance through a calibration to 0.2 mm .
The multiplex construction gives you a panel with high screw pull-out strength and particularly good stability.
You can process these lightweight panels – like all our Queenplys – easily and in a time-saving manner. Standard carpentry tools are sufficient. You can find a special processing video for this concrete look on YouTube.
Multiplex beams such as the Queenply Multiplex imi-concrete vintage anthracite do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF beams. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are no reason for a complaint. Production or material-related minimal defects that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the 1st choice are assessed according to the grading regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standardisation.
We also take great care to ensure that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.
Please note! Surface treatment before installation It is important to oil the raw surfaces of your Queenply before installation. This applies to all veneers and all panels coated only on one side, as well as to the raw panels and all open edges. Why? This makes our Queenply resistant, protects and maintains the wood. We also have a special recommendation for this, which you can order directly: RUBIO® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. One coating is enough with this oil! You can find all informations here.
Please also note that the representation of the coloring on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions, please contact us. To be on the safe side, you can order a sample of all Queenply variants from our shop.
If you are going to process our lightweight panel, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing safety goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation when processing the Queenply.
And another important note:
We pack your finishing panels with particular care before dispatch and ensure that they leave our warehouse without damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is dented or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That's why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw board, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your project – and feel free to recommend us to others.
