The olive ash owes its name to a special core formation, which resembles the wood of the olive tree in its coloring. Do you know that? Characteristic for this wood are the clearly visible wavy zones of alternating olive/dark brown and lighter wood coloration. This makes the wood very lively.
You like that? Then this veneer on our Queenply lightweight panel is just right for you. You can get the Multiplex Olive Ash in different thicknesses, veneered on one or both sides (depending on the thickness) here in our store. By the way, the finishing boards in lowest thickness are also very suitable for walls and ceilings. This makes the van very cozy!

The weight of the base panel of our Queenply olive ash remains unbeatable: approx. 320 – 350 kg/m³. The veneer is also about 50% lighter compared to an HPL coating. We achieve the high screw pull-out strength and the particularly good staying power through the multiplex construction – which makes it easier for you to work on your van interior.
Our 4 mm Queenply with olive ash veneer is veneered on one side. You can use this lightweight board for your wall and ceiling paneling. On the other hand, Queenply Olive Ash veneered on both sides in higher thickness is ideal for furniture construction.
We calibrate the carrier panels accurate to 0.2 mm, which reduces the thickness tolerance and ensures a better surface smoothness.
The gluing is MR (moisture resistant).
The veneer is moisture-regulating. It absorbs moisture better and releases it later. This optimizes the indoor climate in the camper van. Therefore, this lightweight panel is suitable not only for motorhome finishing, but also for the interior finishing of yachts and ships.
You are interested in the Queenply coated on one side, because you can cover for example ceilings and walls in a van with it really stylish? A good choice! However, we would like to point out that these panels can tend to warp slightly due to the one-sided coating and the associated asymmetrical structure. Even we cannot change this. Therefore, a possible warpage is not a reason for complaint.
Plywood multiplexture beams such as the Queenply with oak veneer do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF beams. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are not grounds for complaint.
We also take great care to ensure that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the boards caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.
Please note! Surface treatment before installation It is important to oil the raw surfaces of your Queenply before installation. This applies to all veneers and all panels coated only on one side, as well as to the raw panels and all open edges. Why? This makes our Queenply resistant, protects and maintains the wood. We also have a special recommendation for this, which you can order directly: RUBIO® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. One coating is enough with this oil! You can find all informations here.
As you may already know, veneers are a natural product made of wood and are therefore always unique. That is what makes them so unique. However, this is also the reason why our veneers shown in the shop are only exemplary representations and slightly deviating surfaces are also in the nature of things. Please take this into account in your planning and selection.
When processing the veneer, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing safety goggles and a protective mask.
Due to the low weight of the Queenply, there is an increased dust formation during processing.
And another important note: We pack your finishing panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your extension – and feel free to recommend us to others.

If you have chosen one of our veneered Queenply, it is certainly important to you that it gives you pleasure in your van for as long as possible and does not lose its charisma. That's why it's a must to take care of our queenply and treat it with a care oil even before installation to maintain its value and resistance. This applies to all veneers as well as to the raw boards and all edges. Perfect protection and best care for your wood. We have a special recommendation for you: Rubio® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. It is the perfect partner for your Queen. It protects and cares for the wood with just one single coat. Moisture or mechanical damage such as scratches or scratches don't stand a chance. And thanks to the high-quality ingredients, the effect of the beautiful surface is maintained. Extremely resistant. As the oil is also used in parquet and flooring, it is extremely resistant. Just as necessary when travelling in a camper. And it is water and heat resistant - which is another reason why we recommend it for the care of our Queenply. The oil is clear, so it is equally suitable for all veneers and colour shades. One oiling is enough! Important for you: You only have to oil the surface once after sanding! One working step is enough. That's less work for you and you can start installing sooner. If you are a thrifty person: Our oil is even cheaper in the end than some other maintenance oils that have to be applied twice. And that's with the great quality.
