Wake-up School in Uganda: The roof truss is being planned!

Thanks to your donations, the next stage in the construction of the urgently needed library and additional multifunctional rooms for lessons at the Wake-up School has been completed! The shell of the building can now be completed. The walls have been raised and window and door openings have been fixed.

The donations were also used to lay a drainage system to channel the surface water that occasionally collects past the buildings without causing any damage. At the same time, the architects from socialarchitecture diverted the water so that it can seep into the ground and later feed the school's well as groundwater.

The roof truss is now being planned. This will next be financed by your donations. As soon as we receive news from Uganda, we will of course inform you again. Thank you all on behalf of everyone involved in the project and on behalf of the teachers and children at Wake-up School.
