This is a solid board in 4 mm thickness that can really take a beating. In addition to the characteristic grain, the technical values are absolutely convincing. This bamboo board is more resistant than any hardwood you know.
How does that work? During production, the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure. The result is this single-layer solid board, which is almost unbeatable in terms of hardness and density in this so called Density® variant.
Added to this is certainly the grain, which makes this board so special. Due to the interesting surface, it is particularly suitable for applications where the surface of the boards remains visible: Furniture or wall panelling, for example. Perhaps you already have an idea of where you could use this thin but robust board?
Sustainable!
The Moso bamboo from which these panels are made is known for its hardness and stability. Its fibres are long and dense, which gives the panels high tensile and compressive strength. In addition, this type of bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world. The first stalks can be harvested and processed after just a few years. And all this without the entire plant dying.

Structure
Moso® Bamboo Tiger Density consists of one layer. During production, the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure. This makes this solid board more resistant than any hardwood. The surface is untreated.

Stability
Due to the composition of the individual bamboo strips, the positioning and direction of each layer and the further compression, MOSO® bamboo panels shrink and swell less than most solid woods.
Our Density® variant is also exceptionally hard: Brinell >9.5 kg/mm2.
Maintenance
Bamboo panels made from Moso are easy to care for. They can be wiped with a damp cloth and cleaned with a mild detergent if necessary. However, it is important that you protect the panels from excessive moisture and direct sunlight to ensure their longevity.
Formaldehyde emissions
MOSO® bamboo boards have low formaldehyde emissions, which correspond to class E1 (EN 717-1) or class E0. If you have any questions, please contact us.
