Beautiful, more beautiful, dark grey. That’s how you could put it. The acrylic decor in dark grey really makes a statement as a furniture front in camper vans, on yachts or for interior designs. This is not only due to the deep-dyed color, but also to the super-matte surface and the velvety-soft surface structure. Once you feel it, you won’t want anything else. It is simply a difference to cheap lightweight boards from the hardware store.
Besides, all the technical properties speak for themselves: the carrier board is the lightest weight board on the market, the decorative surface is insensitive, easy to clean and scratch-resistant – even though it looks so noble and high-quality. And the color is UV-resistant, so it doesn’t fade quickly in the sun.

The Queenply Multiplex with acrylic decor in dark-grey supermatt is a very light, stable furniture board. The low weight of the 15 mm or 18 mm carrier board (approx. 320 – 350 kg/m³) facilitates the processing and saves you kilos in the total weight later on. Due to the multiplex construction, we also achieve the high screw pull-out strength and the absolutely good stability.
We calibrated the support panel to 0.2 mm in order to obtain a better surface smoothness and lower thickness tolerance.
The decor on both sides is 0.5 mm thick.
The PUR hotmelt process gives the lightweight panel a moisture-resistant bonding, making it ideally suited for van conversion.
Transport protection film
And to ensure that nothing happens to the high-quality surface during transport and that you can start your job without any hassle, we supply the elements with a transport protection film on both sides.
This protective film should only be removed after the installation has been completed. Please leave this film on the surface during the entire installation process. This protects the great decor.
After the protective film has been removed, the surface is ready for use; additional polishing is not necessary.

Storage
Long storage periods of more than 6 months and storage in the sun (UV light) can damage the surface.
Plywood-multiplex carriers such as the Queenply Multiplex with acrylic decor dark-grey supermatt do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF carriers. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the carrier and are no reason for a complaint. Production or material-related minimal defects, which do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the 1st choice, are assessed according to the grading rules based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standardization.
We also take great care that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory perfectly and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the boards caused by transport or further storage is not a reason for complaint.
Please also note that the representation of the acrylic coloring on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions, please contact us.
If you are going to process our lightweight board, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing safety goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation during the processing of Queenply.
And another important note: We pack your finishing panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your project – and feel free to recommend us to others.
