Decor 223. Concrete imitation in light grey. On MDF panel. Robust and resilient. Mineral surface.
Light grey vintage concrete look on MDF carrier panel. And this design surface is indistinguishable from original concrete. Not just to the eye, but also to the touch. This is partly due to the incorporated air pockets and the three-dimensional depth structure.
You can use this MDF panel to simulate a modern industrial design and create pieces of furniture, stairs, platforms, exhibition walls or shop fittings. We have also seen this great design in home and office interiors.

Structure and surface
The MDF panel imi-concrete Vintage light consists of a 19 mm thick MDF carrier panel with an approx. 1 mm thick grey mineral coating on one side (side A).
Side B is covered with a white melamine backing. The panel edges are raw.
Due to the mineral coating on one side, these MDF panels are subject to slight tension.
The concrete surface is made of mineral, solid-colored material that is coated with a matt lacquer. It is extremely durable and robust, but is of course also subject to normal ageing processes.

Thickness
You can order this composite panel from imi in a thickness of approx. 20 mm from our online shop. We will of course deliver it to your door with our shuttle service for 49 euros.
Classification
The mineral imi-beton coating is classified as non-combustible A2-s1, d0 in accordance with the German DIN EN 13501-1.
Sustainability advantage
The materials are recyclable. You can easily dispose rests with household waste. Both, the coating and the carrier panel material, are ecologically harmless.
Higher loads
An additional matt protective coating is recommended for expected higher loads.
Cleaning and care
You can treat this imi-concrete surface like a normal veneered, lacquered surface. We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth.
As you may have already read, normal carbide-tipped tools are sufficient for sawing, drilling and routing these high-quality coated MDF panels.
The screw extraction resistance is the same as for any other MDF panel. We recommend pre-drilling.
These panels can be glued with standard wood glue.
If you put the panels into storage, please store them in a dry place and protect them from frost. Please use foam foil as an intermediate layer so that you can enjoy this beautiful coating for a long time.
And please note the following information:
The main component of imi mineral coatings is organic. This means that color differences between different batches cannot be completely ruled out, even though we take great care to avoid them. Differences of this kind, as well as air inclusions, are natural and are no reason for complaint. Due to the nature of this product, slight warping and slight offsets in the joint area cannot be completely ruled out, despite all the precision and care we take.
