Plattenladen-Shuttle

Here we go: our own fleet of lorries to deliver your panels

Perhaps you’re wondering the same thing right now: if you order panels such as Queenply lightweight panels or poplar and birch plywood from an online timber supplier, how do these large panels get to you? At PLATTENLADEN, there are three options:

  • Collect your order in person from our warehouse – coffee and advice are included as a courtesy ☕️
  • place an order with one of our partners in your area 🤝
  • direct delivery to your door with our own fleet of lorries 🚛

Benefits of having your ordered multiplex and lightweight panels delivered by our lorry

Within Germany, our lorries make weekly deliveries, and abroad every two weeks. This has a number of advantages:

  • Safe transport of your panels
  • Trained drivers who know exactly how to handle the wood
  • Forklift unloading at your premises – you won’t have to carry much
  • Advance notice of delivery – You can plan everything properly

👉 Conclusion:

Three ways for your ordered panels to be delivered to you. And with all of them, you’ll have professionals by your side who know exactly how to handle and store the wood: our brilliant colleagues here in our warehouse, experienced professionals at our partner sites, and trained drivers on our lorries.

🤔 And if a panel does happen to be slightly damaged at one corner?

💡 We have a solution for this, too. We pack your panels with the utmost care before dispatch and ensure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can sometimes happen during transport that a corner gets dented or the edge is slightly damaged. We’re well aware of that. That’s why, for every Queenply panel, we deduct 1 cm from each side in advance: for the raw panel, 249 cm × 121 cm; for all composite panels, 243 cm × 121 cm; and for all veneered panels, 247 cm × 120 cm.

That saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be spent on the complaint. You’d be better off putting that time into your project. 😉
