This solid board does not have its name for nothing. Due to its processing, this panel is even harder and more resistant than the best hardwoods. And we also manage this with a sustainable raw material: Moso bamboo.
During the production process, the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure. The result is a 3-layer solid board 20 mm thick, which is even more resistant than all the hardwoods you know.
The irregular grain created by this processing also looks really chic and has something unusual about it. The fact that the boards have been steamed gives the bamboo a caramel brown, warmer color.
You can use this bamboo board for custom-made worktops, stairs, furniture, kitchens, doors and many other applications.
Important to know: The Density® solid board is fire-resistant, so it can be used in public projects.
The Moso bamboo from which these panels are made is known for its hardness and stability. The fibres of Moso bamboo are long and dense, which gives the boards high tensile and compressive strength. In addition, this type of bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world. The first stalks can be harvested and processed after only a few years. And all this without the entire plant dying.

Structure
MOSO® Bamboo Density® has a three-layer structure. The special production process, during which the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure, makes the solid board more resistant and robust than any hardwood. This production process also gives the board an unusual grain. The surface is untreated.
Steamed
The solid board is steamed so that the basically natural light color of the bamboo changes to a warm caramel brown. This provides a warmer coloring.

You can get the MOSO® Bamboo Density® 3-layer in 20 mm thickness from our shop, delivered of course for 49 euros with our shuttle service.
Stability
Due to the composition of the individual bamboo strips, the positioning and direction of each layer and the further compaction, MOSO® bamboo panels shrink and swell less than most solid woods. In terms of hardness and density, our Density® variant is virtually unbeatable.
Density® is exceptionally hard: Brinell >9.5 kg/mm².
Fire resistance
As a material, Density® bamboo achieves the fire resistance class B-s1-d0, which corresponds to EN 13501-1 and enables its use in public projects.
Care
Moso bamboo panels are easy to care for. They can be wiped with a damp cloth and cleaned with a mild detergent if necessary. However, it is important that you protect the panels from excessive moisture and direct sunlight to ensure their longevity.
Formaldehyde emissions
MOSO® bamboo panels have low formaldehyde emissions, corresponding to class E1 (EN 717-1) or class E0. If you have any questions, please contact us.
