Solid board bamboo with characteristic grain. Sustainable. Extremely resistant.
This solid board has a very characteristic grain. It was therefore simply named "Tiger" and is available for you in our shop in 20 mm thickness. Precisely because this solid board has such an interesting surface, it is particularly suitable for applications where the surface of the boards remains visible: Stairs, kitchen worktops or even furniture. Perhaps you already have another idea?
In addition to the characteristic grain, the technical values are absolutely convincing. During production, the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure. The result is a 3-layer solid board that is even more resistant than any hardwood you are familiar with.
Important to know: Density® solid panels are fire-resistant, so they can be used in public projects.
Sustainable!
The Moso bamboo from which these panels are made of is known for its hardness and stability. Its fibres are long and dense, which gives the panels high tensile and compressive strength. In addition, this type of bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world. The first stalks can be harvested and processed after just a few years. And all this without the entire plant dying.

Structure
Moso® Bamboo Tiger Density has a three-layer structure. During production, the individual bamboo strips are crushed, compressed and glued together under high pressure. This makes this solid board more resistant than any hardwood. The surface is untreated.

Thicknesses
You can obtain the Moso® Bamboo Tiger Density 3-layer in 20 mm thickness from our shop, delivered for 49 euros with our shuttle service.
Stability
Due to the composition of the individual bamboo strips, the positioning and direction of each layer and the further compression, MOSO® bamboo panels shrink and swell less than most solid woods. Our Density® variant is almost unbeatable in terms of hardness and density.
It is exceptionally hard: Brinell >9.5 kg/mm2.
Fire resistance
As a material, Density® bamboo achieves fire resistance class B-s1-d0, which corresponds to EN 13501-1 and enables it to be used in public projects.
Maintenance
Bamboo panels made from Moso are easy to care for. They can be wiped with a damp cloth and cleaned with a mild detergent if necessary. However, it is important that you protect the panels from excessive moisture and direct sunlight to ensure their longevity.
Formaldehyde emissions
MOSO® bamboo panels have low formaldehyde emissions, which correspond to class E1 (EN 717-1) or class E0. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Official LCA and carbon footprint studies (ISO 14040/44) confirm that MOSO® solid bamboo panels are CO2 neutral over their entire life cycle.
