Queenply Lamitech Linen Grey 2516

Product information "Queenply Lamitech Linen Grey 2516"

A perfect linen-effect finish. HPL on Queenply. Color: Grey. Very cosy and versatile.

You’re no doubt familiar with linen as a wall hanging. Or as textured wallpaper for unique interior designs. If you like this linen look, then we have just the right panel for your interior design project.

The finish is a perfect reproduction of real linen. The greyish hue gives it a very elegant look. And best of all: like every Lamitech HPL, the surface is hard-wearing, waterproof and easy to maintain. By choosing this panel, you’re opting for a robust, sustainable and high-quality option.

The 4.7 mm panel is coated on one side and is perfect for wall and/or ceiling cladding. Just imagine how stylish that would look in a van.

You’re guaranteed to create a real eye-catcher – you can use thicker panels to make furniture fronts, tables, doors, platforms or counters. You can also use this panel to build a shower cubicle in your campervan or use it as a kitchen worktop. It’s something a bit different.

For further important information, do have a look at the technical details. And feel free to order a sample to view. We’ll refund the cost when you purchase a panel.

Surface: linen-effect

The surface is an HPL with a linen finish. A perfect imitation. The advantage: just like other Lamitech HPL surfaces, it is waterproof, hard-wearing, scratch-resistant, has an antibacterial coating and is easy to maintain. Combined with our Queenply as the core panel, this composite element is not only very easy to install but also extremely durable.

Gluing

We glue our Queenply composite panels exclusively using a high-quality PUR hot-melt adhesive. We do not use white glue. PUR is waterproof and heat-resistant up to 135°C. This means that the HPL does not peel off as easily when exposed to heat as it does with other panels.

Additional calibration

We calibrate every Queenply core panel once more at our factory to an accuracy of 0.2 mm. This means you can work with perfect joint dimensions during further processing and won’t have to worry about thickness tolerances. Quality from the core panel right through to the surface.

Screw pull-out resistance

We always work in more centre layers into our Queenply than this is generally the case. This production method guarantees you significantly greater stability and a particularly high screw pull-out strength. Nevertheless, Queenply remains one of the lightest finishing panels on the market.

Cleaning and care

The HPL surface is easy to clean with all commercially available, non-abrasive liquid cleaning agents. You can use the surface cleaner recommended by us, for example. You’ll find it in our accessories section.

In addition, the surface can be disinfected with all commercially available disinfectants.

Edging

Please note: These elements are unedged. The HPL / acrylic may protrude at the sides. We have dispensed with the edging, as each panel has to be edged again by you before installation anyway. We therefore charge 1 cm less for each side of each composite element in advance (243 cm × 121 cm).

Storage

Of course you can store the panels for some time. Please make sure that you store them horizontally in a dry place and protect them from excessive temperature and humidity fluctuations as well as UV radiation.

Important infos!

Plywood and multiplex beams such as Queenply do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF beams. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are no reason for a complaint. Production or material-related minimal defects that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the 1st choice are assessed according to the sorting regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standardisation.

We also take great care to ensure that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.

Please note! Surface treatment before installation!

It is important to oil the raw surfaces of your Queenply before installation. This applies to all veneers and all panels coated only on one side, as well as to the raw panels and all open edges. Why? This makes our Queenply resistant, protects and maintains the wood. We also have a special recommendation for this, which you can order directly: RUBIO® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. One coating is enough with this oil! You can find all informations here.

Surface color tone

Please also note that the representation of the HPL coloring on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions about this, simply contact us.

Occupational safety measures

If you are going to process our lightweight panels, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing protective goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation when processing the Queenply.

Edging

Please note: These elements are unedged. The HPL / acrylic may protrude at the sides. We have dispensed with the edging, as each panel has to be edged again by you before installation anyway. We therefore charge 1 cm less for each side of each composite element in advance (243 cm × 121 cm).

Transport damage

And another important note: We pack your panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that, too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your project – and feel free to recommend us to others.
