Queenply Lamitech Latte 2167

Product information "Queenply Lamitech Latte 2167"

HPL in cosy caramel beige. Lamitech quality on Queenply. Available in the surface variants OPAK and MATT.

This color is reminiscent of the coffee drink of the same name. But also the inviting atmosphere it creates is special. It‘s a color that can be easily combined with many others. Whether in a camper van, kitchen, office or even for a shop counter, our Queenply Lamitech Latte is suitable for a wide range of applications.

Lamitech's HPL is available exclusively from us. It impressed us right from the start. We are certain that if you order a sample to feel and see the HPL for yourself, you will be equally impressed. Want to bet? By the way, if you do end up ordering panels from us, we will refund you the cost of up to three samples. So... go ahead.

A few words about this beautiful Lamitech surface: it is water-repellent, has an antimicrobial coating and is extremely abrasion-resistant. Combined with Queenply, which is waterproof and bonded heat-resistant up to 135°C to the HPL, you have endless possibilities. Nothing comes loose in heat, nothing swells in moisture.

And it gets even better: you can choose between two surface finishes:

Latte MATT – with a light pearl structure. Hard-wearing, extremely durable and stylish.

Latte OPAK – the premium surface. Velvety soft, with an anti-fingerprint effect, light-absorbing, easy to clean (even with acetone) and with a regenerative surface from which you can wipe away micro-scratches and wine stains.

Technical details

You can purchase Queenply with Lamitech HPL decor in various thicknesses from us. The total thickness of your Queen depends on whether you choose the MATT or OPAK surface variant or a mix of both. You will find the specifications below our product description once you have selected the thickness and surface.

A few words about the Lamitech decor (it's worth reading – promise!):

Surface variant OPAK:

This surface is extremely high quality. Super matt, light-absorbing, with an anti-fingerprint effect and a feel that will win you over. We are sure of this, because everyone who holds a sample in their hands feels the same way! The decor is also very durable, water-repellent, abrasion-resistant and easy to clean. Small micro-scratches caused by crockery or other items can be easily wiped away with a dirt eraser sponge. Wine stains or permanent marker can be removed in the same way. This makes OPAK the perfect choice for furniture fronts, kitchen or shop counters, table tops and much more.

Surface variant MATT (MT):

We also offer every Lamitech decor in a MATT version with a slight pearl structure. This is also high-quality, durable, water-repellent, easy to clean, hard-wearing and has an antimicrobial coating..

But why are we doing this? Quite simply – for you! This gives you a choice of two surface finishes in a perfect color combination. For example, you can build the outer fronts of your furniture using the highest quality OPAK finish and choose the slightly more affordable MATT finish in the same color for the inner sides. All on Queenply, of course…

So you have the choice, and once again we have what you need: OPAK on both sides, or OPAK/MATT, or MATT/MATT.

Just three steps to your customised panel

The selection process is very simple: 1. Select the thickness of the Queenply carrier panel. 2. Specify the desired surface variants. 3. Proceed to checkout.

Gluing

We glue our Queenply composite elements exclusively with high-quality PUR hot melt adhesive. We do not use white glue. PUR is waterproof and heat-resistant up to 135° Celsius. This means that the HPL does not peel off so quickly when exposed to heat.

Additional calibration

We calibrate the Queenply carrier panel once again at our factory to an accuracy of 0.2 mm. This means you can work with perfect gap dimensions during further processing and have no stress with thickness tolerances.

Screw pull-out strength

We always work in more centre layers into our Queenply than this is generally the case. This production method guarantees you significantly greater stability and a particularly high screw pull-out strength. Nevertheless, Queenply remains one of the lightest finishing panels on the market..

Cleaning and care

The HPL surface in MATT is easy to clean with all commercially available, non-abrasive liquid cleaning agents. You can use the surface cleaner recommended by us, for example. You’ll find it in our accessories section.

In addition, the matt HPL surface can be disinfected with all commercially available disinfectants.

You can clean our premium surface OPAK with a dirt eraser sponge and mild washing-up liquid. This also removes micro-scratches. However, to avoid damaging the super-matt anti-fingerprint surface, there are a few small things to bear in mind. So please take a look at the cleaning instructions for this special surface in advance.

Edging

Please note: These elements are unedged. The HPL may protrude at the sides. We have dispensed with the edging, as each panel has to be edged again by you before installation anyway. We therefore charge 1 cm less for each side of each composite element in advance (243 cm × 121 cm).

Storage

Of course you can store the panels for some time. Please make sure that you store them horizontally in a dry place and protect them from excessive temperature and humidity fluctuations as well as UV radiation.

Panel dimensions

244 cm x 122 cm

One important note:

So, you like this panel? Great! There is only one thing you have to consider: This compound element has different coatings on the front and back. Due to this slightly uneven structure, the panel may be prone to slight warping. This is not always the case, but could be. Even we are not able to prevent this. That’s why possible warping is no reason for complaint.

Important infos!

Plywood and multiplex beams such as Queenply do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF beams. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are no reason for a complaint. Production or material-related minimal defects that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the 1st choice are assessed according to the sorting regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standardisation.

We also take great care to ensure that your ordered Queenply panels leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.

Please note! Surface treatment before installation!

It is important to oil the raw surfaces of your Queenply before installation. This applies to all veneers and all panels coated only on one side, as well as to the raw panels and all open edges. Why? This makes our Queenply resistant, protects and maintains the wood. We also have a special recommendation for this, which you can order directly: RUBIO® Monocoat Maintenance Oil 2C. One coating is enough with this oil! You can find all informations here.

Surface color tone

Please also note that the representation of the HPL coloring on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions about this, simply contact us.

Occupational safety measures

If you are going to process our lightweight panels, please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions, such as extracting the chips and wearing protective goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, there is an increased dust formation when processing the Queenply.

Transport damage

And another important note: We pack your panels with special care before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. However, even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is pressed in or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that, too. That’s why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply finishing panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted on complaints. Put this time into your project – and feel free to recommend us to others.
