Bamboo veneer is becoming increasingly popular. So we also have a matching veneer edgeband for it. This edge is designed to match the plain pressed bamboo veneer on Queenply, available in our shop.
If you like decorative and protective real wood edging for this surface, you've come to the right place. With this veneer edging, you can cover the open cut edges of your Queenply and protect them from knocks and damage.
In principle, edge banding is not an absolute must for our panels. Thanks to its structure, our Queenply has a really attractive cut edge. Well pre-treated and oiled, it is also protected against scratches and impacts, so you can leave the edges open.
However, if you would like a veneer edge that matches the veneer of the panel, we recommend this one.
Each roll is 50 metres long. The edge is 24 mm wide – one width for all panel thicknesses. Depending on how you prefer to apply the edges, you can order them with or without hot melt adhesive. Simply select your favourite from the options.

Edge dimensions
Each roll contains 50 running metres of real wood veneer edging. The width is 24 mm, making it suitable for all panel thicknesses available from us. Any excess can be trimmed off accordingly.
When selecting your order in the shopping basket, please note the thickness of the veneer edging. We have several to choose from.
Application instructions
You can get this veneer edge with or without hot melt adhesive on the back, so you can decide how you want to work with it. Would you rather work directly with integrated hot melt adhesive? No problem. If you'd rather use your own adhesive, we also have veneer edges without hot melt adhesive on the back in our range. You can choose this option before placing your order.
Oh, and if you need a recommendation for a really good adhesive, take a look in our shop. We have a PU adhesive – why not order it at the same time?
When using an adhesive, follow the manufacturer's instructions and allow the necessary drying time.
You can apply this edge by hand or with a suitable machine. Installation is really easy.
Color
Please note that there may be differences in color or texture between the edge and the panel coating. This is not due to us or the quality of our product. Any deviations are no reason for complaint.
Subsoil
Before processing the edges, please ensure that the raw edges are clean, dry and free of grease. Otherwise, please clean the raw edges beforehand and allow them to dry thoroughly before processing.
Curing
It is best to avoid putting weight on the edges for the first 24 hours after application so that the adhesive can harden.
Occupational safety
Please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions when working on your interior fittings.
How to get your edgeband
There are three options:
- You order the edging from our shop and collect it yourself from our warehouse during normal opening hours. Coffee included.
- You can have the edging delivered by our PLATTENLADEN shuttle service, but please note that there will be a delivery charge. In this case, it makes sense to order the edging together with panels.
- You can contact one of our partners in your area and place your order through them.
