Color-coordinated ABS edge. Matches the Lamitech Sandstone surface. For finishing and edge protection.
Lamitech HPL Sandstone has a particularly beautiful and warm color tone that is modelled on sandstone. We have a matching ABS edgeband in our range, color-coordinated and of high quality.
As with all Lamitech surfaces, our ABS edging is available in both MATT and OPAK finishes. If you would like decorative and protective edging for this surface, you can order it directly from our shop.
Edging is not essential for our Queenply. Thanks to its structure, the panel has a really attractive cutting edge. Pre-treated and oiled, you can also leave it exposed.
However, if you would like to cover the exposed edges with a product that matches the high-quality and beautiful Lamitech surface of the panel, we recommend this ABS edge.
Each roll contains 200 running metres. We have different widths in our range: 23 mm, 33 mm and 43 mm. Please check carefully which width you need before placing your order.
The edge does not have any hot melt adhesive. You can use any suitable adhesive to apply it. If you need a recommendation, take a look at the PU adhesive in our shop that you can simply order directly.

Material
Our ABS edge is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, a thermoplastic material known for its high surface hardness, elasticity and durability.
Edge dimensions
Each roll contains 200 running metres of edgeband (tolerances of ± 50 cm are possible), color-coordinated with the Lamitech surface. The edge is 1 mm thick and is available in three different widths: 23 mm, 33 mm, 43 mm.
Variants
We have this ABS edge to match the Lamitech MATT or Lamitech OPAK surface. Depending on which Lamitech surface variant you have ordered, you can also obtain the matching edgeband from us in every case.
Color
Please note that the color representation on your screen may differ slightly from the original color tone. As the edge material is ABS, there may also be differences in color or texture between the edge and the panel coating. If differences are noticeable, this is not due to us or the quality of the product and is therefore not a reason for complaint.
Application instructions
You will receive our ABS edging without hot melt adhesive on the back. You can easily install it using a suitable machine or by hand with a suitable adhesive. When using an adhesive, follow the manufacturer's instructions and allow for the necessary drying time.

Subsoil
Before processing the edges, please ensure that the raw edges are clean, dry and free of grease. Otherwise, please clean the raw edges beforehand and allow them to dry thoroughly before processing.
Curing
It is best to avoid putting weight on the edges for the first 24 hours after application so that the adhesive can harden.
Occupational safety
Please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions when working on your interior fittings.
How to get your edgeband
There are three options:
- You order the edging from our shop and collect it yourself from our warehouse during normal opening hours. Coffee included.
- You can have the edging delivered by our PLATTENLADEN shuttle service, but please note that there will be a delivery charge. In this case, it makes sense to order the edging together with panels.
- You can contact one of our partners in your area and place your order through them.
