Are you impressed by our extremely matt beige acrylic surface? Then this ABS edge is the perfect finishing touch.
If you like decorative and protective edging for this surface, then you’ve come to the right place. With this ABS edging, you can cover and protect the previously open cut edges of your Queenply.
An ABS edge is not an absolute must for our panel. Thanks to its structure, our Queenply has a really attractive cut edge. Well pre-treated and oiled, the edges are also well protected and you can leave them open.
However, if you would still like to have an edging that goes well with the high-quality and attractive acrylic surface of the panel, then we recommend this one.
This ABS edge is matched to our decor. Each roll is 75 metres long. The width of the edge is 23 mm – a width that fits all panel thicknesses in our shop. The edge does not have any hot melt adhesive. You can use any suitable adhesive to apply it. If you need a recommendation, we have a PU adhesive in our shop to order directly.

Material
Our ABS edge is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, a thermoplastic material known for its high surface hardness, elasticity and durability.
Edge dimension
Each roll contains 75 running metres, tailored to the acrylic surface. The edge is 1 mm thick and 23 mm wide, making it suitable for all panel thicknesses available from us. Any excess can be folded down accordingly.
Application instructions
You will receive our ABS edging without hot melt adhesive on the back. You can easily install it using a suitable machine or by hand with a suitable adhesive. When using an adhesive, follow the manufacturer's instructions and allow for the necessary drying time.

Color
Please note that the color representation on your screen may differ slightly from the original color tone. As the edge material is ABS, there may also be differences in color or texture between the edge and the panel coating If differences are noticeable, this is not due to us or the quality of the product and is therefore not a reason for complaint.
Subsoil
Before processing the edges, please ensure that the raw edges are clean, dry and free of grease. Otherwise, please clean the raw edges beforehand and allow them to dry thoroughly before processing.
Curing
It is best to avoid putting weight on the edges for the first 24 hours after application so that the adhesive can harden.
Occupational safety
Please ensure that you take adequate safety precautions when working on your interior fittings.
How to get your edgeband
There are three options:
- You order the edging from our shop and collect it yourself from our warehouse during normal opening hours. Coffee included.
- You can have the edging delivered by our PLATTENLADEN shuttle service, but please note that there will be a delivery charge. In this case, it makes sense to order the edging together with panels.
- You can contact one of our partners in your area and place your order through them.
